Top 12 Finalist for the 2026 Chorus Boxes!
Today I found out that my painted telephone box 'Sweet Aroma' has been chosen as one of the most popular chorus box murals in NZ this year!
It will be featured in a calendar alongside 11 other artists’ murals—and even turned into a jigsaw puzzle. I had no idea about that part, so that's a fun surprise to be receiving 1 of each myself!
I painted it earlier this year to bring vibrancy back to this area in Feilding and prevent tagging. It was based off my existing art concept (see in comments below)
While the Chorus box inciative has sadly come to an end, I'm grateul I got the chance to convert 4 dull boxes into happy boxes for the local community.
